2008 - 21st Biennial Michigan Postal Workers Union Convention
May 15 - 17, 2008 - Grand Rapids, Michigan
This year's convention was one of the best on record. While I might be a little modest, since my home local was the host, this year's convention is now in the history books. A lot of things were accomplished, resolutions were discussed, and politics aside, areas of contentions were finally put at ease. Overall, this convention did what every convention is suppose to do. It took the membership as a whole, through its' delegates, and came together to make changes. While some may argue that some of the changes will be down the road, some might be right away, however, one thing is true, the union became stronger and more united when we departed.
