Parade of States
On Thursday Night, the mood turns to the enjoyment of the friends and families that are brought with the delegates through the Parade of States. A tradition at the National Convention, each state is lined up in Alphabetical order (except the host state goes first) and the parade begins. Locals and delegates from each state generally bring items with them to show where they are from and these are thrown out to the eagerly awaiting families lined along the path. These pictures are of what happens behind the scene, as the states prepare to walk and represent their state.
